Ya i know that Dragway 42 is doing a complete track overhaul from what Aaron told me. We could make the dyno the day before the Midwest Nats which is at 42 this year from what Aaron said. That will be in June and i know another shop if backstreet isnt big enough i can ask him if its cool.

the dyno day is going to need to be about 2 days or we are going to have to speed up the dyno runs...depends also what he has planned, he might have a bunch of cars being tuned there

We can do about 30 cars on the dyno in one day.
We do NOT tune on a dyno day. We made that mistake the first year and we ended up spending 15 hours on the dyno.

Just a heads up, we WILL be having the Midwest nationals next year.
We took a year off, but it will be back next year. Dragway 42 is having a major overhaul to the track [finally!] and we will be holding it there. This will be in Mid to late June of `09

Dyno with meet and greet. Food and prizes on first day
Drag racing the second day.
Same thing we have every year. We didnt have anything planned until I talked to 42 and found out about the over-haul. As soon as I did, we decided to bring it back next year
Hell if you want to set it up, go for it. Makes my life easier

The city needs to have a track and dyno shop that are cool and understanding. Once we get the location, i will call the dyno shop(s) and see what type of a deal we can get as well as the track. Ill set up the date as well and give everyone prices. Ideally May would be my choice. Right now the only suggestion i have is for North East Ohio, so i guess that spots number one. Back Street Performance - 330.764.1923 Ohio's Portable Dyno Specialist! ......has a portable dyno but i dont know if they would wanna bring it to the track, or thats even worth it. To be determined. Welcome To Dragway 42 .......Im told there cool and we can rent a saturday at the track. To be determined.

you sure about that mike hahaha
supermech...i will get an approximate price from a buddy of mine on the dyno he has a HUGE facility and can easily accommodate 40+ cars in his lot...i will ask him what he wants either for a per car price or for a day rental fee, he is pretty good on the price

It would only make sense to have it at Backstreet. They are close to 42.
Or they can bring us the dyno. Brewbaker wouldnt be a bad choice either, but IMO Backstreet would be perfect [because of location]

They're only about 30 mins from 42. If needed they can bring it elsewhere. It would be alot of setup for Brubaker to do something this big. Besides, I'd hate to have someone do something stupid and ruin something of his.
