Default I'm a noob just introducing myself...

Hello everyone my names Joey and I'm a proud owner of a 2005 Black SRT4 with very minor mods and 16k miles of pure fun.

I'm a MINI/BMW technician with plenty of Honda/Acura experience. I have owned 4 turbo Hondas(all built by me) and 5 all motor Hondas, also built by me. I worked as an Acura tech. for almost 2 1/2 years and finally decided to move to MINI's.

So far my car has the Mopar bov plate, K&N drop in filter and a QWFMIC.
I'm planing on adding a lot more things to reach my goal of 315whp and something of 320+lbs of torque to the wheels.

I have searched and read plenty of different threads about 300whp on stock turbo so i'm porb. gonna go that route and see what it does for me...

I have just one question, do i really need the fuel return kit? and if so, why?
i have put together a couple of turbo kits on friends RSX's without any kind of return lines and 'till this day they are runing great(pushing about 280-295whp) so why do SRT4 need this mod?

anyways I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.
Thanks for the time!

Welcome to the forums man. A return line is not necassery, just one option of getting the correct fuel.

You don't need a return line, I just think of it as some kind of a mid-ground between stage 1 and stage 2 injectors. If I were you, I wouldn't try to stick with a completely stock turbo to achieve that kind of power (unless you're really stuck on trying to compete w/ dansrt). It would be much easier to gain those higher hp numbers with an upgraded turbo. PT performance offers what's called an "SST" turbo (acronym stands for super stock turbo). Basically it's a stock turbo with a bigger exhaust wheel that is also ported, and it's easily good for 300hp+.

Are you in Lakewood, Ohio??

If you are there are quite a few quick people in north-east ohio. And I'm sure they'll be able to help on your way to 300 hp.

Black is cool. Just a bitch to keep clean.

On stage 1 injectors
The returnline set as 1 to 1....1lb fuel pressure per 1 lb of boost will enable close to or 300 hp by increasing there flow. I had all the mods plus a giant of an intercooler, cat and resonator and stock o2 pipe and achieved 283 hp 350 lbs torque. Spiked 21 and held 15 to 16 to redline with safe A/F ratios. But PTB is kinda a bitch with wastegate set so high. Could had 300 hp with said upgrades and exhaust bottlenecks removed.

Bigger turbo's rock for drivability......But you gotta pay to play. Alot of periphials to buy.

Good luck. I live in Wooster.

they have done minor things to their cars and are also thinking of upgrading them. so all 3 of us are looking for more mods to do on the near future..

What's up Joey. I am the blue one of the said brothers. Also, without your knowledge I got a Stage 2 w/o. Actually this was done to fuck with Hurley and his Jetta. Things were going good the other night until 2 fire trucks and an ambulace showed up. If you didn't hear just ask Hurley. Good times. But you gotta come out with us. (Well in the spring with this weather lol) Also I'd like to see your intercooler. Say hey to the Jetta for me.
