Hi my name is Chuck and Im the President of the Michigan Lightning Owners club. I know you must be wondering what Im doing on an SRT forum? Well I would like to extended an offer to all of you SRT guys (Neon, Ram and Viper) to join us at a private track rental at Milan Dragway on April 24th. We have alreay invited the Michigan and Ontario R/T owners and the Motorcity Terminators (SVT Cobra) clubs. The cost will be $40 per vehicle, $5 per spectator (or $35 per vehicle if you pre-pay. Refunds available if completely rained out on pre-pays). We will have open test and tune plus a bracket race for trophies and hopefully come cash prizes! Cut off date for registration (pre-pay or not) is April 19th (you have to be on the list to get in since this is by invite only).

Also what would you guys think of trying to arrange an SRT vs SVT dragrace in July and a car show in June?

The other week when I went back to Cleveland I was cruising with 4 other Lightning guys and they thought they were fast till the NEON pulled up with them We all were rolling down the Indiana toll road and of course got nailed by 3 cops, they pulled us all over... After we got pulled over we all got out of our vechicles and they walked up to me and couldn't belive how fast the SRT was... They were shocked that I was keeping and pulling from some of them. After we all got our 90 in a 65 tickets, they told me they were on there way up to michigan for a lightning meet. At times, we were going about 145 in all three lanes! Shit was tiiiight...

Errr man that sucks.... but then again, no it doesnt!!

It sucks to get the ticket, but it doesn't suck because I got the respect of the Lightning guys.. They were impressed... They were really impressed when I told them what it costed! lol

That is cool to make the offer.A little bit of a journey for me.Ought to be a good time though.One of the guys I work with has a Lightning that goes to the the dragstrip with me.Just wanted to say have fun.
