Gratiot losing appeal.... - SRT Forums

Yeah, so Gratiot on Friday and Saturday nights is definetly starting to lose its appeal to me. Lately I have just been parking at Bionde's Pizza on the corner of Utica and Gratiot hanging out watching everyone drive by with my buddies. When I am out there on "the course" it is usually one of two things: A) I drive in a circle waiting for someone to mess around with, or B) I find someone to mess around with and end up watching them fall away in my rear view. Either some heavier artillery needs to step up, or i need to de-tune, none-the-less, I'm getting a little tired of people not being able to give me a "run for my money" so to speak. The closer the race, the funner the run; and I haven't been having that much fun lately....

Hey Bobby....I will set you up a race with my cousins friend with his 3000gt VR-4 when he gets his hard pipes installed. He should give you a good race.

Also, have you tried to race those 2 silver WS-6's??? One of the guys is named Francis....hes in 11's. There is also a Turbo'd Mach 1.

BTW...Why dont you race some Vipers when they are up there??? I have raced a few lol....not a close race but fun.

I know that there is AWESOME competition out there, cars that would blow me out of the water, the main thing that I'm saying is that the only people that I ever get to race or want to race me aren't of the sort. I know Francis' by the way, and he always wants to race for the cash. I'm pretty sure he's a bottle junkie, and I haven't seen the turboed Mach yet.... I'll keep an eye out.

Another night out on Gratiot last night, and yet another "satisfying" evening. VW GTi, Blown 5.0, thought they would've been good runs, but yeah, the walking distance increased with every gear, heheh.... I'm gonna be lookin' for the turbo mach next week....

I know 2 place that are 10 times better then gratiot.. it aint no little drive around in circle either. its a pretty good street racing area if you want more info just post right here and if enough people want to know maybe we can have a meet up this weekend and rat pack out there.

this weekend is gonna be rough, girlfriends b-day on friday (canada), and got a grad. party im goin' to on saturday (drinky drink). we will see, but im pretty sure im gonna be nice and toastly intoxicated friday and saturday nights this weekend....
