that sucks bro. you still looking for a job or what? i remember you saying something about not having one a while back but can't remember when? what are some of your job qualifications? i'm sure someone here in the burg could use you for something. since you are pretty good with motors, i would think that one of the shops around here could hook you up with something.

Well, got info from JNZ. "Your housing arrived late yesterday, we're just waiting on those last few fittings to get here and then you will be good to go!" I dont see why these fittings have not arrived yet, Monday will be 3 weeks. Sigh. At least I got the turbo at Group buy price 3 months after the group buy was over ( I am a good repeat customer ).

As for job skills lets go down my list of previous jobs.

Security Guard
Cashier
Yard Manager at a auto dismantler
Cook
Bouncer
Escort Driver
Parts driver
Roofer
Electrician
T-Bar installer
Insulation installer
Linesman at a factory
Warehouse/loader ( Forklift experience )
Porter
Graphic artist ( sign company )

Thats to name a few

As for work, I am still out of it but unemployment is paying me well. I am taking home $870 every two weeks from it

Yeah get me the name, I could use something to get me out of the house, as much as I like being paid to do nothing, it is pretty damned boring hehe. The truck is going to kill me on gas though in the winter, summer wont be an issue, I should have the GST up and running shortly. All I need now is a clutch line and a rear quarter window and I will have everything I need to fire her up.

I have no police record, I am a good boy, only been handcuffed twice, once at a party so they could run my name and a second time by a GF Never arrested etc.

Alright cool, I will check them out tonight.

Got the car fired up but didnt get to drive it., Seems to be running much cooler at idle which may or may not be a good sign, wont know until I get under boost.

Also sold the 95 GST today, got my first $500 payment for it.

Turbo is being shipped today I believe he said, got all the parts in that I need. Should have it Monday or Tuesday. Taking the head off today, going to take it down to the machine shop and have it O-Ringed.

Ceramic coated a few parts

And I find it funny that I can pass a 20g off as a stock turbo, my 20g next to a stock T-25. Soon I will have a picture of a 35r in there for size comparison

^very nice. yeah i think it is funny too, but those inspectors guys hardly know what they are looking at anyways. last time we were out, when shaun blew the injector cap, the inspector guy didn't think that our cars came with a turbo even though it says 2.4L TURBO on the valve cover.

are you going to get it back together in time to run it tomorrow for the last time on the 20g?

No. I got the head gasket replaced, the place didnt answer their phone so I didnt get the head O-Ringed, I will take my chances and may pop another head gasket soon hehe.

I still have the intake manifold etc to put on the car, too much work to get it to the track today and I dont have the cash right now. I dont want to have to take everything off again to throw on the 35r in a few days so I am going to leave the turbo off the car for now and just do it one time since its so humid outside. With the added trouble of adding water lines back on the car for the new turbo, its going to take some time to plumb everything out. Had I kept the 2g head, it would not have been an issue at all but with a 1g head, things are different and I have a few problems to work out.

that's cool. i am not going to be able to go to the track tonight anyways. my clutch started slipping bad last night so i don't want to damage it too much more. i will be ordering my new clutch within the week and then i have to break it in so i might not be able to get to the track for another month. damn this sucks ass!!!! but hey when i get the new clutch, i will be able to get better holding and who knows, maybe a better time than if i used my stock clutch. plus by the time i get out to the track it will hopefully be a little cooler and be able to run better too.

hey, assuming that i have all of the right parts and nothing major goes wrong with the install, how long do you think it would take for me to change it out? would you be willing to help me out if shaun isn't able to? i have never touched a transmission before so i have no idea what i am doing. give me an engine and i will go to town on it but put a tranny in front of me and i am like a cow at a new gate going WTF.
