Default Found out today shes totaled.

I got smashed from behind waiting to turn left on tuesday and found out they aren't going to fix her today. That was a great running car, I am going to miss that little bullet badley!

Buy it back.

Tell the other insurance company you want to retain salvage of the vehicle and have your body shop fix it.

This is expensive, but if you want to keep your SRT, this is the only way.

Part out.

Seriously though, sorry for your loss. I know I would hate to lose my SRT-4. You could possibly buy a new one or get an Evo. Good luck man.

TJ

listen to tj..i should have done this as well.

my orange srt was totaled out with about 15k or so worth of damage. granted, the frame was slightly tore up, but state farm was going to isse me a check for at least 18.5.

i could have at least an 11 second srt if i was more patient and thought things out, but oh well.

Default bad damage

f250 deisel dually hit me from behind at about 40-45mph. The back of the car starts at the top of the rear wheels. I'm still dealing with neck pain and it gives me a headache to read for very long, but it'll take more than that to keep me down. I am going to buy another one, its a great problem free running car from what I've seen and I was a service writer at a dodge dealer. I ran only amsoil in that car from 3k on, whoever gets that motor its been well taken care of, I have all reciepts.

If you want more info I have everything, it was my baby. I'm gong on monday to take off any aftermarket items before I sign it over to the insurance company. Just ask I would like to see the parts get used for a good cause. That car ran beautiful since july of 03.

I know how you feel man. I was also rear-ended at a red light. I thought it was repairable, but then the shop told me it was totaled. . . i was SPEECHLESS. . . .they told me i could take my stuff out if i wanted, well i did and it was the worst feeling ever. . .that was the last time i ever sat in my skittle

This has not been a good week for cars. Your's got totaled, frined of mine got rear ended in his Durango near Kroger on 23 mile, and my Daytona got side swiped in front of Lakeside Mall.

In my opinion, I say get another SRT-4, why not pick up an ACR AND KEEP YOUR TOTALED ONE for a swap, that way you have 2 - keep the ACR nice and have a clone to beat on and modify to your hearts desire.
