I don't know of anyone, who has ever gotten a ticket for their exhaust in Michigan. Regardless of the car, and I know a ton of people with loud, sometimes obnoxious, exhausts.

I did while driving to Tucson, AZ. I was on the Toll Road in OK, andit was 3-4am and I was pulled over by 2 police cars at gun-point.

And I was Stock.

But I don't think you will have a problem in your daily travels.

Kleen got a warning on exhaust because "there's no pipes hanging out the back..."

I kindly tried to explain to the trooper that the car came with no muffler, so his point was kinda mute. He said that the car did, I said it didn't, he said all factory cars do, I disagree'd. Finally I jokingly asked what it mattered. He said, and I quote, "emissions."
I kinda let out a little laugh. "Your muffler is for emissions?" "Yes sir." "No, your muffler 'muffles'..." He got kinda pissed about then so I dropped it.
