Default Dtec installed

So it looks like everything is working Ok....I just had some concerns before i got it tuned. I purchased the FC only. The AF ratio is not working...is this correct with out the tuner wideband? Also..the knock light/shift light is constantly on...what did i do wrong? bad wire job? or did i set it up wrong?

a/f i belive doesnt work w/o wideband you can make it work with a uego also the knock light needs calibrated the sensitivity his really high probably

thanks for the reply..ya i figured i had it set wayyy to sensitive or something. does anyone know what knock should be UNDER?

figured it out..i guess our knock sensors are a complete joke and i need to turn it down a bit. i was just paranoid i wired something wrong...does anyone out there have some base maps with stock boost FMIC...3 inch exhaust?

did you calibrate the knock lite per the instructions with the kit? Just put mine in this weekend, calibrated it and havent had a problem.

Forget what the button combo is, but I believe you hold the button down until the unit blinks red, press it once at idle, once at 3k rpm and the last press is at 6k rpm. PM if you have any other questions, I dont surf these boards much.

yea i got it all figured out.. i just was freakin out that i might have wired something wrong...i felt like an asshole tonight. went to a mall parking (12:15am) and revved the shit out of it. Reminder that i have a 3 inch side exit..lol..yes..there were still people around..local bar near by...o well...thanks for the tip!

Ditto !!! The knocklight is way to funky sensitive. I use my Areoforce gauge also...

yea..i have mine in the steering column....i set it NOT so sensitive..so it never goes off...pefect...now i need a UEGO and a good ass tune:-)..im not sure i wanna mess with the boost as of yet...i think i would rather just go big turbo this fall...i need to get my monster vacations out of the way first...she looks good and runs nice! I will post up some pics here soon
