Drove From Michigan To Myrtle Beach Got 30mpg On 89 Octane 28mpg On 93
GOT THE BEST FUEL ECONAMY WHEN I PUT 89 OCTANE IN 30MPG AND ON 93 OCTANE 28 MPG, AND THAT IS DRIVING WITH THE AC ON AND KEEPING IT BETWEEN 75 - 80 MPH. I WAS VERRY IMPRESSED

I have Stage 2 and can get 29 mpg from work to home which is country/highway both ways. Impressive for sure.
93 octane on Stage 3 with all highway driving and a couple 3-4th pulls I averaged 32mpg. Couldn't believe it and did the math twice and sure enough it was right.
Below 91 octane = reduced performance. I would never run below 91 octane in a Forced Induction car. To each his own...
You're missing the point. He's not in boost while cruising along at 65. THere is zero need for 91+ if he's not getting on it. However if he was racing every now and again along the way, then yes, 89 is reduced performance and possible damage depending.

It doesn't really matter all that much since the computer retards timing because of the cheaper fuel.
