oh so many fond memories of Canada. thank God for their lower age limits on drinking. I'm 21 now so it's not a big thing for me to go to Windsor anymore.

I was in windsor several times when I lived in Detroit. I don't remember a lot, but I carry one lesson w/ me. Those coins they are giving strippers are apparently worth $1. If you start throwing quarters at them, you don't get the lap dance that you'd think... you get thrown out. Then onward to the casino!!!!

Loons, or Loonies what the heck do they call em? Something goofy like that. Or do they get offended up there when we call them that? I don't remember that well as the alcohol usually had an effect on me while I was there.

I dont know how to spell them, but the $1 coin is called a "loonie" and the $2 coin is a "toonie" I believe....

Ok I'm bringing back a stale thread but I didn’t see a single Canadian post.

Yes, a Loony is $1 and a Toony is $2. Coins are a lot more cost effective than paper money. A Loonie from 1987 in circulation is still perfectly good today, though I’m sure it’s REALLY dirty by now.

Also I'm originally from Windsor and I bought my SRT-4 there :-)

Why is Michigan mid west anyways? Its clearly east of center on a map. Heh it’s Middle East

The only people I see in Detroit are the people running to work and the people chasing them.
