Yeah. We were talking about that at the dyno day. We definately should get the whole Chi Town Club (plus Mike ) to go. That would be really cool.

I went on Saturday night. It was pretty cool, but I don't know if it will stay in buisness. Me and one of my buddies went there at like 7:00, and we raced with one other guy. At about 9:30 we left.

BTW my best lap on track one was 17.09 how did you do?

I'd love to go. Something good to do when the weather is bad. By the way, how did the dyno results turn out for you guys?

We used to have a place called ThunderDome out here near me with midget modifieds. It was a standard 1/20 mile quarter midget track, but was polished concrete and had about 10 degrees of banking in the corners! Talk about fun shit! On the high groove they would put down some track bite and you got a nice layer of rubber down up there. On the bottom groove they put talcum powder down every 10 laps or so. With this combination it was just like racing on dirt (slideways )! The drivers from the local dirt track used to come in on Sundays and during the off-season to keep their skills up. I loved it when I would actually keep up and even beat them!

I used to race in 200 lappers that they had at this place. They'd turn off the governors and actually let you bump and bang! Now THAT was some fun kart racing. Too bad they aren't in business anymore. Now all we have is Arnold's. The karts are electric, they don't let you even touch each other's bumpers, and it's mad expensive.

If I ever get the money, I'm opening ThunderDome II...lol.

I'd love to do some indoor go-karting! With a little warning, I could make it as well.

Yeah, sounds cool. Is it this place? http://www.chicagoindoorracing.com
Some of my coworkers were talking about this place for a work outing.
