I live in downriver, aka shadygate!! 02 for the stock turbo, you'll have to hack the shield to fit the monster in there. It's a pain in the ass to do, but it can be done. I've never done a 02 housing replacement, because everytime I took the stock 02 off, it was to replace it with a 50trim or stg3!!

haha yea i took a look at it yesterday from underneath the car, i see NO way to even get my hand up in there, let alone a wrench, and then theres no room to even move at all. insane!!! maybe ill just have to get it installed in a shop... do you know any good shops? id do it myself, but this is my DD car and i need it every day, so it cant sit on stands for a long amount of time

I am trying to think back to when I did this. The downpipe comes off easy from underneath the car. What I can't remember is how bad the O2 housing was since I did it when I put on my stage 3. You might consider dropping the down pipe and pulling the battery and cold air intake crap out of the way and assessing the situation. What I do remember is that one of the nuts holding the O2 housing on is actually welded in place meaning that you loosen the bolt, not the nut. Of course, I can't remember exactly which one, but someone here might...

Not a ton of help, but just to let you know it can be done in a normal garage with normal tools (ratcheting box end wrenches help a lot) by a normal guy.

yea i got my downpipe today in the mail, and it looks like its gunna bolt up nicely, still waiting on the o2 housing tho. what did you use to remove the bolts on the downpipe? just socket wrenches and say... PB blaster? because i put the car up on stands and looked at it, and could barely even reach the bolts on the downpipe, let alone the o2 housing. has removed the o2 housing from the engine bay, as opposed to underneath the car? just a thought. anyway, i have my hands full this weekend already, installing my Tein S-Techs, Boomba BOV, and my shifter if it comes in time

Long extensions and impact gun helps a lot. I hacked the lower heat shield off when I was installing the O2 housing.
