Wii Owners?

I just got one for Christmas. The only game I have is Smash brothers brawl. any other games worth playing on this system? I'm curious to see how the new mario kart does when it comes out at the end of the month as well.

edit: plus lots of games you'll like if you're into that stuff.. like if you like soccer, the wii version of ProEvo 2008 is supposed to be the best one on any console, madden is typical madden, lego star wars if you want a more casual co-op game, etc, etc

and for god's sake. if you've never played Zelda 3, go buy it on virtual console right now.

it's clearly the best game ever made. possibly the best game that ever WILL be made.

never played zelda 3. Always was a PC guy. That's a cheap download so maybe i'll go do that later today.

just FYI before you grab it.... you can't play SNES games with the wii remote.. you need either a classic controller or a gamecube controller.

a lot of this is opinion so i won't argue, but i want to correct you on guitar hero.. it absolutely has online play on the wii. and with the gh3 dlc being so shitty that barely matters.

the soon games i listed are soon like within 2-4 weeks

I have a gamecube controller so I'm good.

By the way do you have any other info about wiiware? I heard it's like VC except instead of downloading the older games, you can download the current games out on the market or something. I take it, you buy them with a wii points sort of system?

also has anyone played anything online? I was giving smash brothers brawl a try this past weekend and I couldn't beleive the lag. Is this a bug in nintendo's system or my network. (xbox live seems to work fine online)

I said the same thing about SSBB......some people on here say they get none. Im guessing its dependent on where you are. Last I read Nintendo was working on beefing up their network after the release of SSBB and it is better then it was at launch. Still lags for me. And with no voice chat, and a really crappy "friends" system....its just dissappointing all together.

But its nintendos first real attempt at multiplayer on this scale....Im thinking (hoping) it gets better, but I get the same thing and I can host 20-30 player games on the pc and xbox, so I dunno
