Wii getting a Capcom VS. game! - SRT Forums

I can't make out what the other side is, but it's Capcom vs. someone

UPDATE: the other side is some japanese property that i don't think is known in the US(at least not popular). Unfortunately this probably severely reduces the chances of this game coming out over here :-/

It looks to be Street Fighter 4 style... 3d graphics with 2d gameplay(although it looks like a static 2d view as opposed to SF4's camera angle changes during battle)

HOLY SHIT... is that captain Falcon?? Could this be Nintendo vs. Capcom?? i think the earth would explode if that were the case.... (edit: nevermind... definitely not Captain Falcon)

Nintendo of America is doing their own press thing later today so I should have more news then... (edit: probably won't be discussed by NOA)

Full game,.. it's definitely not nintendo.. it's a Japanese anime producer.. apparantly Capcom is planning on releasing it in america too but that seems strange to me

Tatsunoko is a anime production company. so your prolly gonna get capcoms main chars VS a ton of different anime guys....that could be pretty sweet!

Whats cool about that is that Capcom was saying a little while back is that they could use the same engine and plug in Marvel characters if Marvel gave it the ok and bring it to America like that.

from a technical standpoint, thats a no brainer

..but im glad to hear that this has been discussed

from the 2 or 3 seconds i saw in action, the gameplay looked very well animated.. i had to watch 3 times to ascertain that it was 3d..

heck i wouldnt mind seeing another capcom vs. snk for that matter

As of right now, I don't think it's expected to be released on the US Market. So, this means that you have to have a Wii capable of playing the Japanese Region games. I wouldn't give up all hopes though, as Street Fighter 4 was initially for Japanese release only, and is making it's way to US Arcades and Xbox/PS3 consoles.

Nontheless, it's good to see a new vs game being released after almost 9 years of Marvel Vs. Capcom 2.
