nintendo can't meet global demand, and UK is getting most of them due to the weak dollar.

I walked into Gamestop or EBGames...or whatever they are....about three weeks ago....the day after they stopped taking pre-orders.

I assumed I would still see one or two.....

When I got mine at Best Buy on release day, they had a bunch of them. Haven't checked since.

you sure they actually have them? i walked by an EB the other day with a big rack of them inside the door.. i walked in, and grabbed it only to realize it was a whole rack filled with empty wii fit boxes. it wasnt the normal shelf.. i expect those boxes to be empty.. this was a big cardboard display in the middle of the store.

so it could be that a bunch of stores are putting out empty boxes like they did with the wii when that was short.

that being said.. today was a good day for picking one up if you called around. i snagged one finally. walmart.com also had them in stock for about 5 minutes earlier.. the first time since launch day.

if you didnt get one today try again next tuesday.. or sunday since thats when the ads start.
