What are some odd/random/old games that you enjoy?
Just picked up Katamari Damacy for the PS2. MAN is that game random but so fun. I can't even explain what it is - if you have a 360 you can download a demo for "Beautiful Katamari". Same principles.
Started to play Parasite Eve for Playstation again, I have probably beaten that game 12 times by now. Still a great game, wish I knew of more like it.
I am also playing ICO for PS2 but haven't gotten very far. Kingdom Hearts is probably after that - I have both of them but have never played either.
What is everyone else playing that isn't from the last few years, or that isn't very well known?
katamari is such a great game.. picked that up back in 2006 or so. weird as fuck and i love it for that.. i'll probably get the 360 one when i see it kinda cheap.. but i always figured it would make a great wii game
i think another game that people overlook that i LOVE is I.Q. for PS1. It was one of the first games available, sold poorly, and it wasn't until years later that it developed a cult following. I managed to snag myself a copy but it cost me the equivalent of about 40 bucks.(in goozex points). ..but it's well worth it for the fun factor/nostalgia, and to own a copy of such a sought after game.
donkey kong jungle beat on gamecube is weird and AWESOME(its a side scrolling platformer that is controlled with the DK Bongos)
i'm sure i'll come up with some others when i get home and glance at my game collection
Westwood's Nox is something i still play once in a while. Online it only has like 30-50 players now... and never on at the same time. but its still fun. Game came out in 2000, i played the demo for it during '99.
Microsoft Allegiance. One of the best MMO games still to date IMO. Its another millenium baby (2000 release). Microsoft gave up on the game in '02 or '03 and a bunch of guys that i still play with took over the source code and continued developing it. Its a free DL'able game now, and is still being updated and what not. A slow morning will yield about 30-40 players in a server. A busy day you'll have 200 people on one server. Loads of fun. Welcome to Allegiance . My name is Apocalypse823.
And i still never can get enough of Deus Ex.

I used to be addicted to EverCrack. Granted its way outdated now, but it used to be the best damn MMO this world has ever seen and I'm not ashamed to have been a player. Was fun!
Also theres a few games for SNES my friends and I would play non-stop for hours and hours after school every night, Super Mario Kart being one of them, NBA Jam Tournament Edition being the other. Man that game was so much fun playing the season with power-ups turned on.
And of course who can forget the hours and hours of Bust-A-Move we used to put in, I don't know what it was about that game except it was addicting as hell.

Yeah me too. Got to the point, though, that I now hate the game and won't play another MMO ever again.
There was a game called Barbarian that I had for my C64. Old sword swinging one on one fighting game. Coolest part was being able to cut your opponents head off (and vise versa). A little goblin would drag the headless body off screen, kicking the severed head along in front of it. Oh and the pixelated nudity...

Lucky SOB. IQ is an awesome, controller throwing game for me. I used to have it because the local video rental place forgot I actually rented it, but it got lost somewhere. I'm trying to pick up a cheap copy of it. So I might hit up some yard sales this summer.
