Those of you with PS3

After the most recent update I've been noticing that whenever I start up the system it automatically goes to the PS store, even if I have a game in. It never used to do this before and would automatically open the game upon start up. Its as if Sony is persuading me to buy crap i don't need. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this.

i dun really mind it... mine goes to "whats new" and my current game is also part of that list, so i just hit start to start my game... no biggy

When I start up my Ps3 goes to the whats new section not the actual PSN store.

I never liked when it would automatically load up the game when I turned it on. Sometimes I turn on the PS3 to watch a downloaded episode of Family Guy or something and if the game automatically started up, I would have to wait for it to load a bit before I could go to "Quit Game" in the PS3 Menu and then watch my video.

Did the option to automatically load the game in the Settings menu go away?

You can turn that off. The option has been on the PS3 from the beginning. I don't like the game starting up as soon as I turn it on

I know, I've had it turned off. I just stated it because I hate when the game starts up automatically.
