Mario Cart about completes the good Wii games. Maybe if you're a Smash bros fan you could get that, those games are fun sometimes. Other than that:

Mario Galaxy and Zelda Twilight Princess are really good.

I understand No More Heroes is really good but I haven't played it.

People who dont have Wiis, like Creatre, love to say there arent any good games.

Here's some of my favorites(and I would never recommend a bad game)

Mario Galaxy (simply amazing)
Twilight Princess (not the BEST zelda game, but still damn good)
No More Heroes
Pinball Hall of Fame(if you like pinball AT ALL, you MUST own this)
Mario Kart
de Blob
Zack and Wiki
Boom Blox
Super Paper Mario
If you like lightgun games: Ghost Squad and House of the Dead 2/3

Tons of good downloadable games too...

Zelda 3(SNES)[best game EVER made] and Ocarina of Time(N64) [possibly the second best game EVER made]
all the original NES games we all love,... Super Mario Bros, Punch Out, Metroid, etc
WiiWare.. Dr. Mario , Bomberman, World of Goo

trust me there's tons of good stuff..

Boom Blox is pretty damn fun multiplayer if your friends like puzzle games. Me and my sister had more fun throwing baseballs at the block animals that stand around the puzzle then finishing the puzzle itself

Ive got every game out for the Wii and I agree with this list. Although you should be emulating all the snes/64 stuff on an old xbox by now. I wouldnt pay 10 bucks to play super mario again.

Boom blox is alot of fun. I also liked metroid.

Oh and the Wii has no good games....

im not into stealing software so i only emulate what's not available on the VC, and I do so on the Wii itself because the Wii controller is way better than an xbox or dreamcast or whatever controller for NES games(and the classic controller is better for snes games)

and lets not exaggerate, nes games are only 5 bucks.. thats what? a cup of coffee?

I dont know the price, you know I dont pay for them. And I have all the oldschool stuff on the Wii, some people just might not know how to do it (I think you put up a how to though :p) I thought they were like 8 bucks. Anyway all the SNES stuff I have on there I have an SNES cartridge for. I just cant figure out where to plug it into my wii

and to the OP....Smogers list is pretty complete, and probably the only games worth shelling out money for.

I just bought World of Goo last night, its pretty addictive, really fun.

I've also downloaded one of my all-time favorite games on the N64...Wave Race. I could play that game for hours, in awe of the waves and fluid dynamics in that game.

I can remember creaming my pants over that game back in the day. Wow how things change

It's still one of the most fun alternative racing games I've ever played. I wish Nintendo would develop a Wave Race 3 with updated graphics and new courses, but with the exact same gameplay, controls and physics. the GameCube release of Wave Race sucked a-hole, mostly because they changed the controls and handling around.

Wii Sports Resort is going to have jet ski racing, but it looks to be quite a bit different from any of the WR games.
