Default Red Ring

Well.. just turned on my Falcon Xbox360 and flipped the input only to see a black screen telling me to call microsoft in about 10 diff languages. Walked over to look at the box, and of course... :dun: :dun: :dun: red ring of death.

turned it off, and back on, and it's working. but im guessing it's days are numbered.

HA! I fucking hate Xbox. I lent mine to my brothers and they were watching DVD'S ON IT! Jesus christ. I know mine is going to blow up soon.

Got the RROD on mine yesterday. Had it for two years with no issues to speak of then as soon as GTA4 came out started getting Disc Read Errors. Then bam, turned it on yesterday and the screen froze up. Turned it off and then back on and BAM, RROD.

Called and my box to send it out in gets here this week...

Thank god for the Extended 3 Year Warranty.

one time i had.... nothing on my pc.

1 hour and a $50 video card later it was fixed

gotta love em.

anyway... i played GTA4 for about 3 hours last night after the incident and it was fine. maybe the falcons do a quick temperature check of the chassis before they power on? my apt was kinda warm, and the ac was just starting to really kick in.

anyway, whatever. its gonna go anyway... guess i just have to accept my fate.

You might be ok. That happened to a buddy of mine and it hasn't completely RROD on him yet. he has a launch unit. Every now and then it give him the RROD and he just lets the system chill for a few hours and then its usually good to go.
