I dont pay for any movies and I pretty much only download em if they're in HD. I play them from my PC to the top tv and have the audio connected to my surround. (Ignore the mess that has since been cleaned up........ mostly.....)
ok well people keep asking why console is better well here is one reason I guess then so far no one has showed the set ups that us console people like which is playing with our friends in our home all together, and also being able to kick back relax play something with a good resolution from our sofas.
If I am to replace my console with a pc then I want to be able to enjoy it the same and many times on these forums and in this thread people say you can do that so I want to see proof of that being done.
For me I got a surround sound with DVD and 52" HDTV with 1080i in my bedroom and then in the living room I have a 65" HDTV with 1080p Harmon kardon receiver 400 disc DVD changer, HD DVD player a single tray upscale DVD player, hd dvr, and klipsch speakers.
O and as for those that want to JO to porn why the hell do you have to hide in your pc room if you’re living with the parents or roommates maybe you should spend less on your pc and get your own home LOL

wait you have console systems so you do not count for the point of this thread I am looking for those that are PC gammers and that is all they do since this thread is pretty much about trying to show and prove that with the PC you dont have or need anything but that for gamming. I mean really if you have console games and a PC set up well you can not really talk about or down to the console people like this thread has.

dude you can set up a pc anyway you want. just because we dont have ours like that doesnt mean it isnt possible

my pc is right across the room from my tv, im not "hiding" in a computer room. right now im watching tv on my extra monitor while i type this and chat on aim. a little later i might fire up cod 4(that i bought for $40 the day it came out) or Kanes Wrath(that i bought for $25 the day it came out) while im still watching tv on the second monitor. woot.
yes but you do not put it up on the tv the point I was making is that while you can play it on the tv you are not. I myself just want to see the games being played on a tv. I just want to and its not just me there are others on here and that I know would probably try going over to a PC set up if we can chill and play in our living room just a preference and it will show the versatility of the set up to others

It shows CPU loads and when you get the BF2 applet it really comes in hand to give the IP addresses to buddys. I like it a lot, I hardly ever use that PC anymore though.
