Charging Ps3 controller....

Damn thing won't charge when i hook it up to the ps3. I have to hook it up to the PC for it to start blinking. I dont know wtf is going on. I think it will charge with the ps3 when it's gotten more charge, but it seems like when it's really dead it's DEAD.

The cable they give you is like 2 feet long...with a 50 inch tv gaming is like being at the imax

That's why you have two controllers, that way when one is low on batteries, you can use the other one while the low battery controller is charging. As for the issue that you're having, I've encounter that situation in the past. But just kept on trying to charge the controller, and eventually it started working. Then again, could had been something with my usb headset as well, because I had two of them hooked up at the same time along with my controller trying to charge.

Controller is now COMPLETELY dead and will not charge or turn on at all :[

usb doesnt provide enough current to charge something thats completely dead. it's not just ps3 controllers, that goes for anything.

now,.. the problem of course, is that sony didnt give you any way to plug it into the wall. not sure what you do from here..

I work at a cell phone store so we have a bunch of USB chargers...i'll try the different voltages and see if anything happens

So USB can only charge if it has a bit in there already?

I think the blackberrys use a bit more voltage but i'm not totally sure...Razr House charger didn't do it. Fawk
