Default Playing M4V files?

Anyone know of a program that actually plays M4V files?

Hypothetical - Say someone were to acquire Seasons 1 and 2 of Scrubs from someone else who downloaded them via iTunes, and iTunes wants "verification" that the person trying to play them is the person who bought them. How would these files be played without going through all that mess? flvplayer, VLC player, ffdshow were all tried, as well as Real Player, Windows Media Player, Quicktime and WinAmp. I would imagine it would be a codec issue. Surely there must be a player out there that will play "protected" content from iTunes.

Any thoughts? This is hypothetical of course, no illegal stuff going on here.

nope.. its not a codec issue, those files are DRM'd so you can't steal them/lend them/share them, or basically do anything you SHOULD be allowed to do with something you've purchased(well, aside from the stealing).

next time skip DRM'd content.. it's not worth it.. you pay nearly as much and end up with a glorified rental

That is shocking to me that the computer underground hasn't come out with some program to play these things. I thought most "hackerz" got joy out of writing programs that go around copy write protected stuff. You know, sticking it to the man.
