It's as I suspected. It's something with my browser at home. Work ok at... work.

strange. i do the main portion of the development for Firefox as the readership is about 55% firefox 2.0 .. so when issues do pop up it's usually on other versions of the site.

i dont suppose you're using user agent switcher or anything like that at home?

Sweet, I'll have to check that out. I was actually looking at some of the IGN reviews of Quantum of Solace, COD, and The force unleashed for the wii on youtube today. It's about time I buy a new game. I just got ocarina of time on the VC and I am looking forward to playing it.

I just bought Lego Batman, Lego Indy, and Super Mario Galaxy. Force Unleashed for the Wii was meh.

Pretty good. The Lego games can be co-op which adds to the entertainment, plus the amusing take on the stories is good. Super Mario Galaxy is like Super Mario World with a twist. And it feels a little easier...

Has anyone tried out any new games and thought that they were pretty good? I need to get something entertaining, or I might just get a 360.

Games I have:

Super Mario Galaxy
Mario Kart Wii
Rayman Raving Rabids
Zelda Twilight Princess
Boom Blox
Wii Sports
Wii Play

Galaxy is one of the best Mario games I've ever played. I think SM64 was a bit better, but the implementation of orbital physics (gravity fields) is outstanding.

Mario Kart Wii is fun if you like the original MK64, but other than some extra tracks and bikes, it doesn't really expand on the premise at all.

Rayman is just plain weird, its decently fun though. Have not played multiplayer yet.

Haven't played Zelda (just picked it up yesterday). I hear its one of the best Zelda games ever.

Boom Blox is really fun if you like puzzle games, although the shooting stages are annoying IMO. It's also a blast in co-op.

Wii Sports is really fun.

Wii Play is decent, just a bunch of weird mini games but I mostly bought it for the extra remote.

anyone pick up any games recently? Don't want this thread to die completely lol.

I got cod waw for a bday present with the zapper and I can't say I'm a fan, but that's what I kind of expected for an fps on the wii especially when (I think) you can't use a classic style controller.

Did anyone pick up that wii sports resort?

for 10 bucks it might be worth grabbing. I watched a trailer for it and everything looks different especially the graphics which I know aren't ps3/360/computer quality but it's interesting. but I'm sure at that point the story and game play are the upsides. I'll look more into it and hopefully might see it for cheap myself.

Have you heard of anything new coming up? I know you update your nintendo gamers site with news but I have been off and on there so I don't catch too much.
