you'll get messages sent to your email by default, but if you want to also get messages on your wii, go into your wii address book, add a new contact, and instead of choosing Wii console, choose "other". then add that email address.

after you do that, as long as the option is turned on in your profile, you'll get a message on your wii whenever someone adds you, writes on your wall, pm's you, etc

note to self: link to a video showing how to add the address.

oh alright. I wasn't aware there was an option that you could add emails, I thought it was just console numbers. Awesome I'll go do that now

Nintendo Channel launches in North America
Posted 5/7/2008 at 9:10:54 AM

Looks like the Nintendo Channel actually beat WiiWare by a few days, as it's now live and available for downloading. As expected, the channel is free and features all kinds of Nintendo-centered content. Read More..

smoger, is it possible to be able to have an automatic feature on the site for each profile that tells who is online playing at that moment in time besides the status thing you have to edit yourself? Idk how it would be done like if you need to add a friend who sends an auto message to n-g-online from your wii when you're online and then posts it in your profile or something saying you're on, but I'm curious if it's possible. It'd be nice if we want to hop on and we can go play with someone if we know they're on rather than waiting for a response through a pm or something? Just curious if it's possible.
