I just bought NFS SHIFT and although i think its a very good game (8-10) the PS3 edition has the typical 64 cars..
a friend of mine from work swears up and down that his PC version has way more cars... including a Dodge NSRT-4
this was the reason that I bought the game as I came to play it i was disappointed that my PS3 version doesnt have any NSRT-4.. just the viper srt-10 and challenger concept..
anybody here play on the pc version and can confirm there are more cars or if my friend is an idiot?
also what are some GOOD/NEW racing games out for PS3 that does have NSRT in them?

You could always get forz..... err.. nevermind. Wait for gt5? Oh and i'm not surprised if a pc version has more cars. I remember older NFS games on the PC had a whole community just for making cars to download through their developement software.

I was goign to get this game from lockerz lol. Is there a lot of stuff to do in the game?
ya i like the game a lot.
pros -
good garage
tuning of vehicle specs very in depth
customizing vehicle look (rims, paint, graphics) very good
buying and upgrading parts is very good
gameplay layout (selecting races, moving from garage to circuit screens) very good
types of racing (timeattack, one on one, drifting, precision driving challenges, aggressinve driving challenges) very good
awesome points system and level ups with badges and merits
cons
no NSRT4 not a HUGE selection of cars
graphics quality not as good as gran turismo 5
races are stupid easy on normal setting
advance through tiers very quickly

ya i work for sony and its part of a promotional loop on some of the tv's and the graphics wise gt5 looks real nice.. wish they'd come out with the freakin game already!
It looks like code masters developed this game, that's why it has such a race feel to it.
If you get a chance pick up TOCA racing for the PS2. This was one of the earlier race games that code masters developed, it mirrors the european race circuits.
Oh, I really like the online play of NFD-shift!! The only down fall of online play is the idiots who just wreck you instead of trying to race you.
