Well if you don't have or haven't played Gears Of War hit that up you can get it super cheap now, GTA 4 is good as well, Call of Duty 4 if you haven't done that either.
i never really liked the concept of gta. played it before and really didn't like it. didn't like COD 4 (had it but sold it). Gears of War sounds fun but my friend said he'll lend it to me once he gets it back so i don't want to buy it. three choices are the orange box, turok, and the darkness. played a demo for the darkness and it was awesome. but it depends on what best buy has. i got access to discounts there ; )
Lulz @ C&C3 over anything at all. That game got boring and repetetive really quick, and i love C&C games. Besides, C&C belongs on a PC, not console.
To the OP. Orange box is alot of fun and offers alot of play time. I put a bunch of hours into HLČ, Episode 1, and Episode 2 and the story line is gripping along w/ great graphics and the likes.

...you know you want to hear them....
i remember when i played C&C for the... N64.. i think. I never thought i would hate a game before. In a type of game where you need to select units and play the entire game with a free-range pointer, a joystick does not do the job, at all, end of story. I returned that game 3 days before the due date at blockbuster... and that was back when they rented out for 3 days at a time.
And i guess i'm a little hard on the C&C3 line, yes it was fun, but it did get repetetive and extremely predictable. I have both of the C&C3 games for my pc, haven't even touched the story mode for kanes wrath, global conquest was fun tho.
What i'm waiting for is the game Tiberium. First person C&C FTW... as long as it doesn't fail epicly like Renegade did.
I would almost say trying hitting up a Hollywood Video or something like that and rent a few games try em out for 2 or 3 days then get another till you got a couple that you really dig and buy a used copy.
