You're insane if you think that. I think the majority of us that had an N64 probably spent more time playing Goldeneye multiplayer than every other game on that system combined.
i dont get why people always use Goldeneye as this example.. Perfect Dark had EVERYTHING that Goldeneye did + more weapons, more levels, and slightly better graphics. maybe because you needed the expansion pack for multiplayer..
all i know is that my brother got pissed everytime we played because of the way i used the laptop gun and fly by wire rockets...
i even found a pipe in one of the maps that i guess you werent supposed to be able to get to, but if you dropped down just right you could stand there with the fly by wire rockets and be almost impossible to even see, let alone hit with anything

I really did love Perfect Dark, but what annoyed me to hell was the random slowdowns that really crippled multiplayer even with the memory pack.
It was definitely fun and a lot more strategic than Goldeneye was.
Oh and btw, best gun in that game was the Dragon w/secondary grenade launcher.

Since you're so down on CS for some odd reason, I'll take you're opion on my sanity with a salt lick. Fuck the grain nonsense.
Goldeneye was a great game. The multiplayer was weak. The fact that it was the best of what was available for N64 doesn't make it good. Quake 2 was out around the same time. And the multiplayer mods for that put Goldeneye to shame.
Quake 2 was certainly not a good game on the N64. Actually for that matter I don't like any of the quake games. I hate mindless multiplayer shooters, they require no tactical skill whatsoever, and the only skill they do require is a 2 liter bottle of Mt Dew to twitch faster.
Give me Ghost Recon over CS any fucking day, that should seperate the men from the girls.
