Wii owners are much less likely than other system owners to own a second console -- nearly two-thirds (66.56 percent) of households with a Wii don't have another console. In contrast, households with a PS3 are more likely than not to also have another system -- roughly three in five PS3 owners (59.4 percent) also own an Xbox 360, a Wii or both.
1. i own about 10 gaming consoles(if you count the ones i just have in storage). let's say i have 5 current gaming platforms. bad assumption.
2. i've personally purchased 4 ps2's. so that disproves anything about me having anything against sony.
3. if you spend $500 or $600 on something, that leaves you with LESS money than someone who spends $250-$350 on something. that's the easiest of math.
the simple fact of the matter is that a higher % of people are satisfied with ONLY a Wii or 360 vs a PS3. in other words, users of those 2 consoles have more choice in what to play. In other, other words, PS3 has no games.
more people own both a 360 and a Wii vs. a PS3+ anything else. Most Xbox360 users have a library over 20+ games at $65 a pop.
I wouldnt say money is exactly a factor in choice.
Yet.. people bitch about how much a ps3 cost?
Smoger.. Congratulations.. You have a bunch of old consoles..?
I have all 3... because I want to play exclusives from all 3... then I sit back and laugh at the ps3/360/wii bitch fest that go on... Because I'm good no matter what.

Dude, I laugh at it too... I kinda want a wii also. But I don't have the extra money now.
They are really fun with groups... When there is a party or something generally people are playing it.. haha.
I've played Wii plenty of times, just can't see spending the money on it right now... Especially since I don't have it .. But there is supposed to be a Wii price drop this weekend. I believe they are dumping em down to $200...
