Default HUGE Ps3 deals this week..

Anyone looking to get a PS3.. this would be a great week to do it..

Walmart is offering a $100 gift card with purchase of any BluRay player, PS3 included.

Best Buy is matching the offer.

MGS4 80gb bundle comes out this week(today?)

i'm tempted.. but there still isnt shit i want to play on ps3. would mainly be getting it for blu ray(and i dont even watch movies that much), and upscaled ps2 games(but then, how many of my games will actually work with it.. won't know until i get it home)

Well, what movies did you see? Cause most old movies aren't really noticeable But anything current should be night/day

LMFAO!! Seriously? The PS3 has been compared to several other, more expensive, Blu-ray players by various sites and mags and all have come to the conclusion that the PS3's picture quality is on-par, if not better than the standalone players and the PS3 usually gets rated better overall because it is easily upgradable via PSN.

So, if you truly did "try many movies" and "it didn't look good at all" and it was connected via HDMI then you either need to adjust your TV settings or get your eyes checked.

i heard cars looks good but he traded his ps3 back in for a 360....he originally started with a premium 360 20gb hdd non-hdmi.....then traded that for a ps3 non backwards compatible with 3 games ...then traded that for a 60gb ps3 the first ones(claimed to be best with hardware backwards compat).....the traded that for a 360 elite with like 4 games wireless card and hd dvd player .....all these trades were made no money out of pocket i think it was a kick ass trade
