Default Guitar Hero World Tour or Rockband 2.. who's getting what?

So which one is it gonna be? Getting new instruments or sticking with old stuff?

What's the plan?

I picked up rock band 2. Just the game.

There is not much in the way of differences. And I don't care for a lot of the music it shipped with.

I bought GH3 and then RB when it released, tried going back to play GH but I ended up looking like a fool because I couldn't hit many notes. Then I remembered that the wireless guitar that came with it didn't register the notes and acted goofy.

For that reason, I'm gonna get RB2, and probably get GH:World Tour sometime down the road since I want to play some Van Halen.

well, I like the Rock Band software, and the Guitar Hero hardware.. so I'm gonna go ahead and get World Tour band kit, and then closer to Christmas I'll grab Rock Band 2 disc only since the instruments are all compatible now.

The drums on World Tour are much nicer than the Rock Band drums

The downloadable content catalog for Rockband/Rockband 2 is unbeatable though.

i hope this is my last plastic instrument purchase for a while.. i have 2 guitars for ps2, 2 for wii, and now i'll be getting this set for 360.

ill prolly get both. like said above the RB DLC is unbeatable, and i like the GH games too. kinda sucks that GH world tour doesnt have any Avenged Sevenfold(maybe later, DLC). however RB2 has "almost easy" and i already have "after life" and "critical acclaim" from the first rock band. They are my fav band so rock band gets points for having their songs.

oh and yea when i get GH world tour it will be the band kit

Avenged Sevenfold suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks.

The production on their music is so strange. The lead vocals are so much louder than the band.
