Come'on, by my count, there was an extra 13-16 seconds total lag time. Wow, I'll just take a sledge to my PS3, I cant spare 15 seconds out of my day.
You know what... thats true... its only an extra 13-16 seconds longer, no big big deal right?
BUT, the other way around.... the 30 install times on certain games that cut loads times down on the ps3 vs. the 360 by 5 seconds was a big deal to you and very well worth the 20-30 minute initial wait. Contradicting.
But lets just stick by the video, why is the load time on this stronger console longer? Or we can just say what you guys would usually say... "When developers finally figure the PS3 out, its gonna be a monster!"
But seriously, no bashing.... what IS the problem?

I dont recall saying anything about install times versus load times, but in any case, does it really matter? Did I say it was a big deal to me? A nice thing, maybe, but certainly not huge.
Why does this load take longer? Cant say, youd have to ask the devs. Is it a problem?

It wouldnt be a problem if sony didnt claim for the ps3 to have soo much power. The Ps3 is like a car that is factory rated at 500hp by dynos at 220hp =\

Blu - Ray disks actual load speed. And the bottle neck in the r/w memory of the system.

All the power the PS3 does have wouldn't make a difference in the world since it's the slow speed of the actual Blu Ray drive reading the disc. Hence, the longer load time.
At least Smoger puts thought into his PS3 bashing...

No way to upgrade the memory on the PS3, but as Sony works things around they've managed to get the OS to work off of less memory since it launched.

Who said I was bashing? You're just getting offended for whatever odd reason.
So it DOES have the power but it Doesnt? Sounds like a nice system.

Doesn't exactly sound like bashing but, how are developers supposed to change the disc drive read speed which is obviously the problem in the video? C'mon.....
hey... thats what sony chose to use in their monster system. A slow drive that really doesnt have any major benefits for games.... other than space.
Did they really have a choice? Considering the PS3 was one of the first Blu Ray drives out there and new technology?
And are you honestly gonna say that space on a disc doesn't benefit a video game?
You better not come out with that "B-b-b-but, compression techniques are much more advanced now" Trying to say that an Mp3 is equal in quality to the track played off the CD?
