Kinda funny considering the big deal PS3 fanboys made a big deal about Halo3 being 640p. Although IGN and some other sites still claim the PS3 looks better- I guess PS3 does more post processing and upscales a little better. But of course your still stuck installing much of the game to the PS3's hard-drive, which I think is gay. My neighbor had to delete a ton of his games from his PS3's hard-drive in order to play the GT5 prologue.

interesting............ They both look the same to me.... but Ps3 is suppose to be the almighty system.
I think that comes from installing it on the hard drive. More pixels = more space.

I love that most games coming out now have installs of a few gigs on my PS3 HDD because it almost completely eliminates load times. I don't see why anyone would see this as a negative. The great thing about the PS3 is that you can upgrade the HDD with any 2.5" laptop HDD so if you were dumb and bought the 20gb version and start to run out of space you can easily upgrade to a much larger HDD for very cheap.
With less anti-aliasing of course it's going to run smoother
I saw a comparison video and I don't know which is better. Those videos always suck anyway
They are almost identical from what I could tell (my friend has the 360 version). Both seemed just as smooth and there was no noticeable difference in framerate. Only thing I noticed was exactly what IGN stated in their review, that there is more pop-up and longer load times in the 360 version. Really only noticeable if you are really looking for it though so you can't really go wrong with either version in my eyes.
Only way to compare is having SAME model TV, SAME settings, and of course, same game running at the SAME time
Not really, because the TV and TV settings have nothing to do with load times and pop-up, which is the only differences I noticed. Maybe I could have noticed some other subtle differences if we were playing on the same TV at the same time but that is just splitting hairs because both versions look great.
Being crosseyed, I can tell the difference immediately. jk
I also wanted to add that given the stability of the PS3 platform...it's so much smarter to buy it. How many have you heard "awww shit my ps3 got the 2 red/green lights of death!

They have nothing to do with load times, but have to do greatly with actual visual. Not every TV has the same color depth/pixels/etc etc.
i can't stand buying games less than 1080i ... simply because i have a projector and anything less looks pretty shitty when its magnified that much... Sux but hey, i love COD4 and GT5 on the ps3 and my blueray movies... hellz yeah playa
Well if this is the case than apparently PS3 doesn't have to display as high of resolution rates as the 360 to achieve the same visuals. Sounds to me like PS3 is a more efficient system. Apparently someone was trying to dis the PS3 and they got SERVED....lol
