The God of War collection releases on Nov. 17th, 2009. It is both God of War and God of War II remastered in 720p, on a single blu-ray. When you buy the game, you also get a voucher to play the God of War III E3 demo. It's 40 bucks, and if you haven't played either of the God of War's this cannot be passed up. They were arguably two of the best PS2 games released. You get a lot of content for 40 bucks!

it just sucks that i have to purchase again the first 2 GOW when i already have them and all i really want is the demo of GOW 3. guess i'll trade the 2 PS2 GOW's and get this one.

another thing that also sucks is that it comes out on the same day as Assassin's Creed 2, so gotta spend $100 on games now, too many games coming out and not enough to spend, especially with a kid on the way.

That's what pisses me off... They can't spread em out. They release all the good games around the holidays... SO IRRITATING!!! I am spending a lot of money on games right now. Oh well, gotta love gaming. The problem is a don't have enough time to play em all.

yup, modern warfare 2 on the 10th as well. i'm still playing Demon Souls and that game is taking me a long ass time because its quite difficult at times.

You can preorder GOW3 the limited edition and they will send you a code to access the demo right now. Download the demo and then cancel your pre order. Problem solved.

well just pre-ordered the collector's edition and guess i have to wait 1-2 days now to get the code. i may though end up buying the CE anyways.

This package is mostly for people like myself who never played the original GOW games for PS2 and need the background before GOW III comes out next year. Otherwise I'd say you are wasting your money if you already own the PS2 copies. Unless you are a graphics whore and want to see the updated resolution and 60fps action. Oh and the Trophies too.

I have the first one for ps2 but never got the second one, so now I'm thinking that buying this should be good. Plus it will get me back into the game before the third one hits stores. The only bad thing now is that I hate to buy a new game when I just got MW2. Oh well.

i'll tell you one thing, the demo for GOW 3 is fucking awesome. i cannot wait for this game to come out next year, this shit is gonna be badass. Kratos is my hero.

I am picking this up for sure! Picking up Mario Bros Wii tomorrow and then followed by this Tuesday all while I am still playing Uncharted 2. Great time of year for a lot of great games!

I just played the demo and man.. THAT SHIT IS EPIC!!!! By far the most badass thing ever!!!! I so cannot wait for march!

I have 1 and 2 for ps2 and STILL play them shits. GOW is ging to be an epic game.

Its already paid for along with GT5

I picked up the God of War Collection this afternoon, as a first time player I am BLOWN AWAY. The game is savage and I now see the praise it had gotten back in the day. I also got the God of War III E3 demo voucher as well. The demo was amazing to play, for a hack and slash button masher it feels like no other game I have played. The demo is unreal, I honestly cannot believe that Santa Monica Studio is making a game that looks even better than Uncharted 2. How I was wrong about Uncharted 2 being the best looking game on PS3! Now I simply cannot wait until God of War III releases.

I got to hand it to Sony and the Playstation brand as they are really getting their act together now!
