Not only is a WIRED keyboard and mouse more precise than any of the listed controllers (with the exception of racing games), but as you said, you can also type.
I think that automatically makes it 10x better than any listed controller.

i would always prefer a wired keyboard on PC gaming. You get your ass kicked with wireless. Shit dont be fast enough =\
Oh the 6 button Genesis controller was it for me. It was perfect for Street Fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat and then they kept that design for the Sega Saturn which is one of my fav systems

it's just ashame that the Genesis versions of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat 2+ were vastly inferior to the SNES versions
IIRC, the Dreamcast controller was damn comfortable in my hands. I also really liked the N64 controller for some reason. I love the 360 controller, too. I never cared much for the Playstation controllers, however.
I can't remember much on the Genesis controller, either; however, I do remember the SNES controller being fairly comfortable, too. Then again, I did have much smaller hands back then

TRUE! I remember mastering it and playing it mostly on Sega, then i got a SNES and borrowed it from my buddy and SF2 was alot better, Easier to play and everything. I wonder why.....
Playstation and SNES have the two best controllers BAR NONE!
Playstation wins it because of the D-Pad being 4 different buttons, as opposed to a plus sign, or a circular shape. It made it MUCH easier to play fighting games and not accidentally jump diagonal forward when pressing forward, or jump diagonal back when pressing back (or block).

Compared to the early Atari joysticks, these were great.
However now that I've been exposed to proper ergonomics, they're pretty painful for long hours of gaming.
