Default Game at home or LAN Center?

I know you wouldnt do it all the time, but if there was a local LAN center for xbox's, would you go to play with friends for $4 an hour? There would be 20 xbox's all hooked up to the internet with a T1 connection. Drinks, candy, snaks, provided as well. $15 entry Tournaments twice a month and monthly leaderboards with prizes.

there's a place near me that has something like this.. always seems to have a crowd but i've never gone in myself.

people would probably be more prone to come for pc's though. easier to network, better games(more players), and fewer people have gaming pcs at home than xboxs

what would make it absolutely awesome and make you want to come back, other than it being free.

I've done LAN parties, but never been to a LAN center. LAN parties are the best.

I only game at home. I host LANs but I refuse to take my computer to one. I'd rather not compress a disc in my spine.

I'd try it out. I've done LAN and Xbox parties and they're a lot of fun. Plus it'd probably be fun to hang out for a while with some fellow geeks.

I went to a Lan in orlando on a field trip. I was able to play games and log in to the BF2 server but I thought it was a total rip off...
