i always get the feeling from xplay that they give extra low reviews so they can garner more attention and make snarky comments. sometimes the review itself doesnt even match the score

Perhaps... but they do have a TV show to run and need to fill it with something. The 2/5 was probably undeserved, Maybe a 3/5 based of what is known of the issues. But no matter what... since it is Star Wars... it is going to be a little difficult to get a solid 'game' review. But I did feel like they were more focused on the game and not the fact that it was Star Wars. Maybe that fact, along with all the engine hype, caused a bigger disappointment which lead to the low review.

I can't say for other games... but that's just what I felt from watching it last night. At the very least I like that I can just watch the show and hear about the new games and see decent previews on TV instead of having to search teh intarwebz.

The story gets interesting, to say the least. As I progress, it gets more and more interesting and fun.

played through the first two levels and definitely liking it. cut scenes are well done, characters are likeable, and its fun mowing down all these dudes

i can see it getting a bit repetitive, but if its only 7 or 8 hours like they say, it should be a perfect length. it should still be worth 900 points on goozex when im finished with it, so ill flip it and use those 900 to get fable 2 or fallout 3 later in the year

Let me know if this is worth a buy. I had it preorder a while ago but after playing the demo and reading the reviews I cooled a little bit on it. I was thinking I could wait until Black Friday or something to get it since there are plenty of other games coming out.

well i know enough to say that if you like star wars and you get it from Toys R Us, it's definitely worth it to grab with the gift card.

at the same time, the game's mediocre reviews, millions sold, and possibly short replay value might have the used prices dropping like a rock in the coming weeks

Yeah that is what I was thinking that the price would drop due to no replay value and bad reviews.

Im near the finish I think. I can see the complaints, like the camera angles, and being a bit repetitive, but if you get good at it the gameplay is freakin awesome. Im really enjoying it personally. I give it a subjective 8 flat.

i finished it yesterday. took me 7 hours and 31 minutes. would have beat it the same day i got it but had to be at work at 3am the next morning.

I like the game, its fun. but yea i did see a few things wrong with it but still a fun game. The story puts alittle twist into the starwars world, pretty cool though. ima play through again for the second ending.

I play for a couple of hour spurts at a time. Got to the point where you *play* with the Star Destroyer and kept getting shot at. After two attempts, I turned it off because I was burnt off and it was time for a rest.

So, while so far some of you think its a decent play through... how about replay value? Would you play it again?
