What a waste of my time....

Dont get me wrong I loved my PS3. It has been WAY more reliable then both of my 360's. The gaming selection might not be the best. but is slowly getting better. And I use it mostly for blue ray anyways.

But come the FUCK on Sony. I expected a good deal to this update. At least a easier more pleasurable experience. Instead I get a bigger font that makes my 1080P TV looks like its playing in 480i. I also don't know wtf they were smoking on the friends list "upgrade" it just looks horrible!! Not to mention the ADS from the PS store that are EVERYWHERE!!!

Only two things worth a damn from this update are the dual audio settings and the new backgrounds.

This update fails so hard. To be releasing the Slims now one would think they would of did a major and I mean MAJOR update to the system to actually compete with Microsoft. Instead it comes up short IMO.

I am in no way a 360 nuthugger nor a Sony one at that. But from now on until a better update is released I will not be using the PS3 for anything game related at all. Its a blue ray player nothing more.

I wanted two things this week a damn good firmware update for the PS3 and a MMS update for my Iphone. FUCK technology I swear

It's a step, there will eventually be a 3.1 and so on to correct things. I personally haven't turned on my system in a few days but I saw the update tonight on my friends PS3. Didn't seem all that bad...

I don't like how the friends list is handled. The dynamic themes are cool but to pay for them lame.

I honestly don't understand how they're allowed to advertise a feature that's "going to be released" when it been in that status for what almost 2 years?

And you can't really complain about ads in the PS store, your online service is FREE remember. With that said, I more than gladly pay $50 a year for XBL, there are some ads, but they do really keep it to a minimum to where it doesn't hinder your experience.

For all the money you spent on those 2 consoles and the one PC you are currently posting on, you could have built yourself a badass gaming/HTPC.

But you do indeed pay for the PSN network. Its included with the price of the system! They might as well say PSN network included but not worth a damn now. Three PS store icons come on sony I know where its at for gods sake!

We all know those apps are half assed. And do not work no way near the way MMS is supposed to work. I have the "get MMS" app it sucks ass.

I have been using "iSend MMS" for 4 months now and have yet to have a picture that has not been received.

Me along with most of the AT&T community. Wow you got a way to send a MMS. I do also its called EMAIL the same thing your app does and I didnt have to pay extra for that!
