Not the first post though. Seems everyone is all up in arms over the error messages
they keep getting for the server load, but don't ever bother to read why. They
will post up threads, which only makes things worse, but they won't take the
time to find out what is going on.

One problem is all the "Babble" "sensless discussion threads" and so on. That cause much of the back ups.

SO... The people in the NW should be one of the last to complain.

And we want a seperate FS/FT area. I think this will help.

One or two a month will not. but 4-5 babble type threads, 4-5 weekly meet ups, 4-5 FS/FT, 4-5 TNT threads, plus 1 brought back from the dead. All this adds up. The NW does abuse some of this stuff and the moderators tend to over look but if more people here in the NW take a little of that into consideration it would stop the need for stricter rules later on thats all I'm saying.

Zane i am sorry but i am going to have to disagree with you. yes some of these threads are bogging down the server but not as much as you may think. what is killiing the forums is the damn search bots. 9 times out of 10 we have google/yahoo/msn search engines pinging the servers looking for information. this is what is slowing down the forums like crazy. there has been suggestions made also. you can block out those little search bots to restrict them to only a weeks worth of information. instead of months/years worth of information. only the registered users should have access to the old archives and such. these search bots are killing the site and it really does suck. none of the other forums that i attend have this problem because they lock down the site to these search bots. if you don't believe me check this out

this is a slow time. but there are always close to double the amount of guests than members. Something needs to be done. I am surprized more Vendors who are PAYING for a site to run properly so they can sell their product, have not complained more. you are paying for a service and if that service is shitty then you bitch about it since shit isn't working right.

so please don't tell me its MAINLY due to our members posting. that is a very poor excuse.

this needs to get fixed soon. BUT i don't pay my hard earned $$ to use this forum. the vendors do and they need to get together and talk to ekool cause this shit is god damn stupid...
