i dont really know what to say about this whole situation any more, i just feel bad because i told him from day one that it was going to blow when he said that he was going to run 13.9 to 1 comprossion. and it blew when he was racing me.
If he was aware of the compression and everything surrounding the build, it's his own fault. /thread

Out of respect for our client we will not be dicussing the nature of his engine issue with the public, however a couple key points need to be said here.
13.9 : 1 compression on a subaru motor is impossible.
Even the highest of compression race motors are not higher than 10 : 1.
The pistons used in this motor are stock compression 8.2:1 forged pistons.
The heads on the motor are from a WRX where as the block was a STi 2.5L The result in this hybrid motor is a compression ratio between 8.5 and 8.75 : 1
Its a popular combination of block and heads that is used with frequency.
Boost levels are set by the client with there own boost controller or working in conjunction with a tuner. Cars that we build are not "set up" to run anything more than WG pressure.
I am not sure what the OP's deal is with us. We are very concerned about all of our clients, builds and there motors. We would never tell a client to "eat it" or that they are simply out of luck on a project we colaborated with.

Damn, I didn't even know you guys were a supporting vendor!!!! W/ a veteran 5 status at that!! Where the hell have you been?
Seriously though, skittles get no love? There have been many a posts on needing tunes and whatnot. You guys should frequent the NW part of this forum more often! Nice to see more than one vendor in the NW!
Ack, cars break. Anything mechanical can break. It's nobody's fault. Your friend needs to focus on fixing the issue at hand and move on. It doesn't do any good to place blame on a shop or whoever installed it. As far as I know, World One sells some really nice parts and do good work.
I have heard nothing but good things from the wrx crowd on fort lewis about world one. Was surprised when I saw this thread. Thanks for clearing it up.

Ok Kyle first of all i don’t see how you are talking about my car or about World One's work before talking to meor the people that work at World One. I don’t know why you are blaming World One because of a simple short in his Snow Performance meth injection pump that led to your friend unfortunately blowing his motor, Wayde the “Evo” guy engine builder of World One found a pool of Meth in his intake. I’m not sure why you are blaming World One for my car/me snapping axles at the track, and the only reason my car was at World One was so much was because I trust the work they do. World One has always treated me like I’m their only customer when it comes to me ordering parts from them and when I’m getting work done by them. Compared to most shops in the NW they are highly respected in the quality of the work they do and follow up they do after getting work done by them to make sure you satisfied with you service. And oh as far as World One’s engine builder Wayde, he has been in the tuner scene since it started. He was one of the first people in the NW and Hawaii to run 9 second passes on a motor he built. Wayde has built motors for time attack cars and daily driven STi’s that are pushing 500whp so his skills are not in question.
FYI: My name is spelled Ashneet
I didn't even read this just the bolded parts.....
He doesn't have to ask for your approval, he is posting his experiences with them. If you feel different, make your own post. That would seem fair to me.

I am not going to beat you up but your tech for sure. I have seen the work done to this car on 3 occations now. I have sent him back down there on 2 of them. I would have thought this guy would have figured it out by now to talk to the owner or something. I have one recommendation for your techs, boost leak test the cars before they leave the shop.
