For the longest time I have wanted to get some more things for the srt like a turbo upgrade but now that I hit 100,000 miles on the 04 im scared to break something and having it turn into a money pit

Hey, reed and 91pumpking... Listen, The S3K that took a dump on my car was a tester. That's was the whole reason behind testing, to make sure it works BEFORE you start selling them to people. It had some issues, and didn't end up working out... Re-design later and now he is testing it again. What's wrong with R&D? He didn't charge me a dime.

Mr Pump King, if you think you really are the king, let me get my turbo on and tuned and then we'll run em. I will beat you, then you'll just want to swap turbos again. You can't ever stay with a combination and max it out/make it correct. You are about going fast and quickly. You have no patience. You change your mind about your combination faster then you can put it on and tune it. The reason I am now going stage 3 is because I just want to go bigger. The smaller turbos are great for running around and making decent numbers, but race gas is required if you want to make really big numbers. PTP is just another company trying to make a bigger "stock turbo" that makes numbers. This new turbo may or may not make that. I am going to try and make high 300's on pump/ meth. Should be possible with my new combination and you know it.

well the 50 trim vs sst would prolly be my fault since i had said i had beaten them before. i wasnt trying to prove that the sst was better i was trying to prove that it could hold its own.

great. lets make some jabs at locals that do everything they can to help make norcal what it is.

reed and i call it as we see it. lets not include him in this talk tho..

and matt..lets be real. i know what im looking for in a turbo. ive tried and tested more turbos than most, and was never happy.

i got what i want, and it works well. 400hp on pump @20spi basically w/ room to grow as it is.
you honestly have a LONG way to go before you even jump the gun and claim youre gunna be beating me bro. you act like i dont know how s3's run.

30psi on PUMP and 30* timing is going to blow your motor QUICK w/ the way youre running it, the minute you put that s3 on.


pump gas vs. pump gas...i havent lost to anyone yet. and im neck and neck w/ norcals fastest on him race, me pump..and him on more boost.


you shouldnt critique my mindset or how i mod. i do everything for a reason. i have bought and tested more parts than any1 for a reason.

w/e this thread is for ptp's sst.

when you got your s3 on you can step off the ptp bus and come play. but dont leave any excuses on the table when you get youtube'd...

Dude, my problem is that you are missing half the story. The turbo was an R&D turbo. It was something to try out and blow it up if it's going to blow. it did, so he went back to the drawing board.

Mike, I will still run you, win or lose (but real races start from a dead stop). You think I am running ungodly timing... You are so wrong. Don't talk about what you don't know. That's your problem right now. You are saying stuff on what you "think" you know. I am not jumping on the PTP bus, I am just stating facts.

The reason why you changed turbos so many times is because again "you thought you knew what you doing and jumped the gun" You happened to stumble accross a combination that finally works for you. You learned the hard way. You are like John in the sense that you are a good salesman. You are selling yourself your own crap though.

Is anything that I stated earlier about you untrue? If it is, call me out. Dude, You're my friend, but stop with the drama. Your head has gotten way to big. I am not taking jabs at anyone, we all get along, we can all be grown up about the whole situation.

There have been several kills of stage 3 cars and big turbo cars by SST's (talk with Mole' about this). Poor tune, not enough fuel, low boost, boost leaks, ect ect. When it comes down to it, run what you brung just don't run your mouth. It has happend and it will continue to happen to those that don't have properly set up cars. Great thing about the SST, easy set up and affordable power vs a big turbo car.



guys do i really need to dig up all the SD SST kill threads again?
with my S3 car i went down countless times, but also beat the said SST car countless times.
Jose best Dyno was 330Hp and 420Tq............
