Ohhh I see you mean in a simulator. Well these races were in fact done on the street and people over rev. Shift early. Some people weigh 400+ pounds. Some people are scared of police coming. Some people cant drive and chew gum. So again you are trying to theorize a perfect situation in which yes these other vehicles should have beat a SST car but DIDNT. I was at a TRACK during test and TUNE and watched a V6 Mustang with custom exhaust beat a well built Firebird but it was his first time with nitrous and could not keep control of his car. He should have been able to half throttle it down the track and beat the mustang.

so you admit that it takes the driver mod for an SST car to beat a 50T or s3 car?

that's what I thought...

saying so admits that the SST is inferior to the other setups ... like I said before, what's the highest trap of an SST car WITHOUT nitrous? then, what's the highest trap of a 50 trim srt? what's the highest trap of a stage 3?

stage 3 with a lot of work can go 130mph ... a 50 trim can do it at high boost, stock head, cams, gears, etc. ... can an SST?

Yes.

So are you admitting a SST can beat a 50 or S3 with a better driver?

yes ... but tell me how that proves the SST > 50t/s3

that single handedly admits that the SST fucking blows (no pun intended)

if only this much thought & discussion went into making the SST, perhaps they would last longer

I dont think anyone is saying that the sst can pwn a 50 trim consistently....the whole jist of the sst is that it is an upgrade to the stock turbo, thats not 50 trim/stage 3 cost......its not a bad upgrade path for those on a budget.....so a 50 trim beats an sst.....well a stock corvette will beat a stock srt.....your talking apples and oranges here....

Bottom line is that the SST is what it is AN UPGRADE TO THE STOCK TURBO......

yes... comparing a vette to a srt is apples to oranges.

comparing a 50t srt to a sst srt is oranges to tangerines.
