i need the strait through muffler that i currently have cut out of my exhaust and a magnaflow muffler that i just bought put in its place. its a really easy job to do, but im guessing that alot of places wont work on my exhaust if i dont have a cat? do you guys have any recomondations for a place to have this done at thats within a 20min drive of bellevue? i want a place that takes pride in their work and will do a good job
uhhh well ryan got his done at auburn muffler thats farther than 20 minutes though depending on how fast u drive. also theres another shop in auburn that will work on exhaust like that but cant remember the name its like umm proflow i believe its across the street from the chrysler dealership.

if it is a simple job as you state i have a wire feed and saw to cut exhaust, bring it by and let me look at it. then i can give you an idea as to how much. shouldnt be more that about $20.00. if real easy we can get it done on install day.
I have used Dan Fast muffler in Kirkland/totem lake area by the ford dealership. They have done 4 different cars for me and IMO they do a great job. they did my current setup for like $70 install.

It's a little farther North, but there's a place called Randy's Custom Exhaust in Smokey Point (between Marysville and Arlington). The owner, Randy, has put exhaust on my last two cars and he does amazing work. He's used to getting huge trucks and just about anything else with a V8, but he will gladly hook you up with a bad ass exhaust system for your car. I told him I wanted a replica of the Modern Performance 3" turbo-back exhaust, which retails for more than $700. He said he'd duplicate it for $450 installed...and I trust his work. My last two cars (1997 Eclipse GS-T and 2002 Neon) have had his exhaust work and it works, looks, and sounds great every time.
The only downside is that everything must stay legal; he will not put open exhaust on your car if it was built after 1970-something. He will, however, make a straight pipe with flanges that can be swapped with the hi-flow cat as soon as you roll out of his shop. ; )
I have nothing but good things to say about his shop and I highly recommend checking him out if you are serious about getting exhaust work done. Believe it or not, custom made can be cheaper and better than prefabbed stuff.
