Default What quickgti is getting quicker

Finally did a turbo upgrade. Running 12psi waiting for MBC so i can turn it to 18-19psi. Specs are

-T3/T4 57 trim .63 a/r
- log style manifold
-38mm tial wastegate
- 3" downpipe
- 440cc injectors
- gay looking side exhaust
- inlet pipe
-revo big turbo program..

Stock turbo vs the new one

18-19 psi, even on pump gas is nothing for that car and turbo...my friend has a 20th anniv fully built and he runs 23psi pump and makes about 330whp on it...then 110 octane and 18psi and he makes 401whp.

well...now that I say that, what are stock internals good for on that car?

why lower psi on higher octane? isnt it safer to up the boost on more boost pressure? maybe he didnt push it at the time of that dyno.

all 'round priceless sig too. what do you have for suspension, intercooler and exhaust?

Trust me 18psi is nothing for me either. Im saving up for internals, clutch, LSD then i'll run 30psi at track only and 24psi daily. Is your freind 20vturbo on vortex if so yeah that mofo is crazy lol. Wish i had more money

actually yes, that is him he took me for a ride in his car on 30psi...and holy fuck was I amazed, I'd always slightly made fun of his car and what not but still respected it...I haven't made fun of it since he took me for a ride on it with 30psi though lol

I meant 28psi lol

and I don't really tell my mods, no offense or anything...but the picture is old(about a year old now that I think of it)...the car had goldline springs on it at the time the picture was taken though.

are you still getting grief for exhaust noise levels (ricer!!! )? it would just plain suck to get snagged for any and every damn noise the car made.

are you kidding i'd throw the KO4 in the garbage...... Its like barely just barely bigger then my stock turbo... Plus a KO4 will never get me to the 11's or 12's on street tires.... My car runs pretty damn good right now. I think i can trap 107mph at 12psi easy

Wow looks friggin good but I would double if not triple up on your fire wall protection.I wouldn't want you being on the news for catching on fire.
