If you want people to listen to your case about PTP, choose your battles wisely. I know FYC can have some good input sometimes, but because of bullshit like this and you stamping FYC on every piece of criticism you give, It makes me not want to read your posts at all. And I understand you don't represent "FYC" as a whole, but keep it out. People keep going back to John for a reason, you can call them whatever you like, but they know what they're getting into everytime they go up. To all that want another PTP day let me know what you want, the FYC crew will keep posting there crap and causing issues we will all have to just "deal with it". I am not going to play into there childish games anymore. Sorry FYC crew, there is nothing you can do to get my goat anymore.
Maybe a brake bleed....I dunno......this is more about comraderie than anything else for most of us....I am sure peeps dont mind compensating John for his time....PTP is a buisness after all...and I am sure everyone realizes that and respects it....

We do brake fluid changes with synthetic DOT 4 fluid only. There is only one better and that is DOT 5. We don't recommend DOT5 because you have to flush the system with mineral oil and you have to get a DOT 5 that is ABS compatible. I only know of one DOT 5 that is ABS compatable and it costs $12 a pint.

$12 for a brake check and tire rotate, I guess I could do it for free. But the last 3 weekends have cost me $140 each time for food (less the last one). So me charging a little to get the work done and done right seems fair. If not, don't show up for the brake check and tire rotate.... just get some BBQ and be on your way. No one is making you do the rotate and brake check nor making you pay for something. It's all about coming over and talking about cars, thats something the forum members have in common and enjoy.

Damn dude, you don't get it do you. Yes we charge $399 for the DF FMIC, but for the install you get a boost leak test, t-bolt clamp and a professional install with a garentee if anything goes wrong. We have the tools here for that just in case (fittiment issues) or for those that have the money that don't want to get there hand's dirty we can get them taken care of. $100 for all that.... yes I would pay it, but again.. they don't have to pay that. They can show up and just buy the intercooler and be on there way and do the install themselfs. No one is twisting there arms to get this installed, the price is what it is. You pay or don't pay, BBQ will still be running cooking food for those that don't want any parts.
