Default What do you think of the New Sticky section?

I thought it was a great idea from Jaymzx. So I ran with it. Everyone tell me what you think.

It looks good, but is there anyway you could highlight the posts with a blue background like they used to be? I know you shouldn't have to because it has its own section now... but i liked the look.

Clean up the post your numbers thread? Just show people that posted there numbers and or dyno sheets. If someone wants to talk about the mods on the car they can start another thread on that. We can have lots of tech threads started that way were we get to know other persons cars with the mods they have on them.

People should just go in and change there original post if they have new numbers to show, not add another post to it. Keep is simple and we can all look through it really quick to see who did what.

Ok everbody. just click the Everthing NW post in the stickies. You will see all the old sticky threads.

The FS thread is still there all the same rules apply but now when someone posts a new item for sale it bumps the thread to the first page so people can see a new item has been added. I thought this might be a bonus.

I love you too hotness.

Are you talking about the Sticky section? Like highlight all threads in the sticky section? If thats what you are talking about NO I have no control over that I believe EKOOL said he was working on it but dont know of any progress.

If you are talking about highlighting the Thread (to click on)names in the Everthing NW Thread yes I can do that. Is this what you were talking about?

We have a Poll thread going on about that very subject. After the polls are closed I will calculate the results, throw out any votes by dead voters and a New Thread will be born first of the year.

See above posts.

Click everthing NW thread you will see best birthday list and it will take you to that thread. When someone posts a new birthday everyone will be aware of it because it will show up on first page.

This is why I hate you so... Its exactly how I would have responded.

I did this again because of an idea by another local forum member and in anticipation of upcoming situations.

I have been forwarned that there may be a few new threads started in 2008 that I will want to sticky. so instead of having 10 sticky threads I can have a select few. Long term threads can now be stickied in the everthing NW thread but not forgotten because from time to time that thread will be on the front page.

It also gives me room for short term stickies like decenber Spotted thread, Or count down 'till Coy getts all the sand out of his crack.(showers)

Things change, if the majority doenst like it I will put it back to the way it was. Its only a short time 'till our beloved president will be back home to fix the NW again.
