Default Well I did it, bought a new MS3

We saw that the market was screaming for parts and bit the bullet. I got the black one (really didnt want it but there are not a lot of them around in black) its the sport model and its faster then the SRT was when it was with no mods handles a hell of a lot better and we have more then enough planed for it over the next month. Shooting for 400 WHP. We will be building, TBE both side exit and rear exit, CAI and SRI, o2 housings, FMIC kit, TMIC replacment, tubular manifold and log manifolds with T3 flanges, coil overs, fuel controll, bigger injectors (this will be tough), and what every else comes up over the next 2 months. Zane I still need that other car we talked about. When I get the car back from the intercooler shop then we will be dyno testing it over the next few months with all the new mods on it. I will be either dynoing tomorrow or Thursday to get base numbers and then its install time for the coilovers on Friday/Saturday. We have a ton of parts getting made for it before it even gets real popular since I really missed the boat on the SRT-4 but we are still doing very well with them across the nation on parts sales I might as well find another car to mod. BTB you would be happy that we didnt get the Caliber but its not much different then it since its a hatch. I will be getting the Caliber as well when the time comes but it looks like it will be a 2008 model year since they keep moving the date back. When I have the car back I would love to run against some of the stock turbo cars in the area to see how well it performs against them. I will see what I can do for pictures in the next week or so.

TTIWWOP!
I was reading a mag the other day while i was at the doctors... Responds to mods VERY well, I believe they got 20hp from just an intercooler, and got more power from getting the throttle plate to not close on WOT

Link me to that or if you can remember what magizine? We have a top mount intercooler for it all ready and that gained 20 WHP. The exhaust should net 15 or more and the CAI from Mazda is claiming 22 WHP. So add all those up (you havent even tried to lean it out yet) and you get over 50 WHP gains. They have a piggy back unit for it as well that has gained 50 HP and 70 TQ to the wheels. Getting 100 addtional HP out of this car is going to be easy. We already have a turbo at the shop getting a bigger compressor wheel in it so that is done already. Now to just fool the MAF sensor and add bigger injectors so I can get more boost out of it. I wonder if it has a MAP sensor on it as well or an over boost sensor. May have to look around under the car some.

You may have some competition on the track now. This car handles so nice and stability control will make any retard a track hero.

The only side I will take is the one that makes money. Most people dont realize that it takes money to keep a shop open or in my case open a bigger one. I dont want to limit myself to just one car but I dont want to attack the EVO market or the Honda market, to much going on with them and Ebay has a ton of crap that these guys buy but only about 1/2 of it works. I will keep you all updated on the parts as we get them done, thanks.

Yes and the mod list will be very long. Looking to have the first into the 12's, 11's and maybe the 10's (6 speed and traction will own me). We will see what happens.

Sell out....JK. I'm sure your parts are going to be great for this car. They certainly have for ours. Good luck with the new adventure and you better be sticking aroung here for a long time. Even if you need to stir up some drama every now and then....LOL!
