Yes it is, but that seems like quite a lot ! How much do you usually add when running a big turbo at 27 psi to prevent knock out of HOM?
I don't add when running big turbo timing, I substract timing. Big turbo will run around 23 to 24 total timing and running boost levels that high I would be shooting for around 21 to 22 ish. I would try to get the AFR's leaned out a bit vs running to much timing.

Thanks, thats exactely what I've been doing... slowly leaning it out! Havent messed with timing yet!
I was talking to some people about your hood and car the other night and I searched for the threads today to show pictures but looks that all the pictures are too old. Do you think you can show some pictures of your car so everyone can see what I was talking about.

Heres my 'summer hood' shots guys.... I was at a car show all day today so couldnt get these on earlier!! Thid hood was damaged badly in the center,.... so I cut out the damage and vented it with screen... I also have a new hood I put on for shitty weather!

Most people like it, but some do not.... the funtionality out weighs though, as it lets out more heat than you can imagine,.. especially here where its over 90 almost every day in summer!
