Default Torquefreaks Dyno Day!

well my friend nick and i went to it and witness a 1078whp '66 nova dyno. and we also watched a 615whp 1100+wtq dodge diesel twin turbo custom setup dyno. it was awesome i saw an '03 for sale in the parking lot it had a body kit on it and some gay racing stripes and it said in HUGE letters SRT-4 on the side with the flaming rams head. it was a disgrace to the srt4 owners of america. they we asking 17,500 for it and claiming it had 310whp and 340wtq. only mods were stg 1 and mopar BOV and catback that was listed. who owns this car so they can be informed how gay it is?

I just got back from torquefreaks 10 minutes ago. That 03 srt neon with a body kit ended up with a 245hp and 316 feet of torque, not sure if thats crank or to the wheels. I ran a 232hp and 261 fee of torque if someone can translate that to real crank, ran it with a 9" K&n cone and a turboxs boost controller. Come to find out i was running 14 pounds and not 16 pounds like i thought i had, oh well, just installed it late last night so i had no time to tune it in the pouring down rain.

car runs great, i am putting down a SOLID 330whp and still going to get bigger turbo in january. clutch should be here soon and my LSD will be here within a few months. then ill be aiming for a LOW 12 second timeslip on pumpgas with 17" drag radials NOT slicks!!!

Man that guy with that silver 03 for sale was pretty friggin ugly,im glad he put SRT-4 in bigass leters down the side of the car because i would have never guessed it to be a SRT-4,the body kit looked like hell and didnt line up very well the only thing i did like about it was the painted mirrors and the shaved door handles.I was there with my red 04.It was pretty cool seeing some of the cars that were there and seeing the numbers some put down.
