I would love to go out to alki... i have been wanting to go, but i don't get off work until 5 so i wouldnt be down there until like 7 or so. You should go later so you can catch the sunset!
Careful. SPD has been stepping up their cruise patrols on Alki since that motorcyclist took out that skateboarder, or something. They've been basicially running it like a DUI 'roadblock'. You drive by 10 or 15 cops on bikes and they all look for some reason to pull you over.
FYI, Seafair is today, so anywhere around Lk Wshington is going to be nuts. The I-90 floating bridge will be closed about the same time the Mariners game is starting. Should be loads of fun from a traffic perspective!
