The weather is supposed to be dry for the rest of the week. It should be good racing weather. Dry and cool with low humidity. Friday and saturday night are both test and tune nights at PIR. You should try to at least make it to PIR friday night. It's about an hour and a half closer for you than Woodburn. Either way I will have some time slips for you to look at next week.

OK, so who's going? Looks a little gray right now, but as long as it don't rain... I'll be going with my brother who wants to race his Nissan Titan (lol). My friend with a Subie will be there as well. Any suggestions on how to have a good run on street tires? What RPM to launch at, etc?

I launch at 3k. You really need to feather the clutch. Kinda a smooth press of the gas down. 1st gear i shift 500 rpm before redline. Just takes alot of practice

And avoid the waterbox if you are running street tires. No burnout necessary...

Well I was pleased to see other srt's out there yesterday and congrats on the good street tire times. Im glad my advice helped on lowering tire psi as the guy in the orange one ran 13.1x on street tires!

I mustered a 12.31@115.74mph on the stock slipping clutch and what is now a fryed ebay tach adapter lol.

Please take a look at my other thread as my rims got stolen form the track.
